Lovely hotel in Alchi
I decided to stay for one day to acclimatize, so I chose this charming hotel in Alchi. After landing in Leh, we took a taxi and reached within an hour. The hotel boasts good architecture and is located in a peaceful area. Opted for the MAP plan, but worth noting, they serve only vegetarian! The food is good, but you might not feel very hungry at that altitude. The room was pleasant, and they provided an extra mattress for our 10-year-old son. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing; we spent the entire day lounging around. We had lunch at their nearby restaurant, offering a nice variety of food. The highlight was the hospitality. Would definitely recommend and visit again! The owner, Norboo, is always there, and I believe that makes a lot of difference!!

Alchi Zimskhang hotel
We stayed at this hotel during our visit to Alchi. It's in an excellent location, close to Alchi Monastery. The room was comfortable and clean. The food was good, and the hotel was exceptionally helpful in preparing meals for our kids. The staff was professional. A very convenient stop in Alchi.

Best hotel in Sham region
I stayed for one night at Zimskhang Holiday Resort in Alchi, and it was the best hotel in my entire trip. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Alchi Monastery. The restaurant was exceptional, offering a delightful dinner. The food was delicious, earning appreciation from everyone in my family. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Additionally, the rooms were equipped with a water boiler, milk cream, and tea bags. Room service was prompt; I requested coffee at 6 am, and it was delivered right on time. I highly recommend Alchi for an overnight stay, especially for those traveling from Leh to Srinagar and visiting the Sham region.

Highly Recommend
We stayed here for a night, but would have gladly extended our time in this delightful place. Our room was impeccably clean, offering a lovely view and an attached bathroom with an amazing hot water shower. The hotel is embraced by a charming flower-filled garden, convenient shopping close by, and just a few steps away from the magnificent temple complex that brings you to Alchi. The restaurant, located across the lane from the hotel in a charming garden setting, served delicious meals with excellent service. This place gets a big thumbs up from me!
