Typical client reviews

One night at Regal Camp, Pangong Lake

One-night stay at Regal Camp was good. I enjoyed the location, and the food was alright. The tent was decent, not fantastic. If you prefer, there are several wooden cottages nearby, especially recommended for March-April or August-September when it might get chilly in the tents at night. Also, note that there is no mobile network coverage in Pangong, so bring cash if you're not making the full payment in advance.

Good camp at Pangong lake

We spent one night here on our recent Ladakh trip. The tents are elevated, offering a direct view of the lake. The weather suddenly changed, and it started raining, making it cold, but the tents were cozy, and we didn't face any issues. Kudos to the owners for organizing everything at 14,000 feet. Highly recommended for a stay.

Basic but ok for one night

Stayed for one night in early July. Considerable distance from the lake, but you could still catch a glimpse of it. Tents were quite basic, with an uneven floor, and the tent entrances were in poor condition. The bathroom was icy cold, and we had to wait a long time for hot water, which ended up being warm by the time it reached us. The food was very basic, all vegetarian, no non-vegetarian options. The staff was very friendly. Despite the cold and wind, we thought the tent might blow away, but thankfully it didn't. There were plenty of blankets to stay warm. It's not a luxury tent, so don't expect much; it's suitable for just a night.

Beautiful view of Pangong from Regal Camp

There is beautiful view from the camp on Pangong Lake, due to the lakeside location. What sets Regal Camp apart is its food. Despite being purely vegetarian (no eggs), they offer fresh fruits for breakfast, and the other items are delicious. Make sure to zip the tents securely before going to bed to prevent cold air during the night.

Decent camp with lake view

The camp offers a great view of the lake, and the tents are clean and well kept. Each room has a patio area at the front facing the lake, allowing you to enjoy fantastic views of the sunrise or relax in the evening while the sun sets. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was good, and the kitchen staff was accommodating in customizing some items.
