Nice stay at Hotel Stendel
We booked one night at this hotel it turned out well. Check-in was quick and easy. Our room overlooked Diskit Gompa, and it was cozy and tidy. Enough blankets were provided, and the bathroom had hot water. The restaurant served decent food. While some staff were very helpful, others were less enthusiastic. The hotel had a pleasant atmosphere, with several other guests around. Overall, a good budget-friendly hotel.

Great location in the Nubra Valley
Great location, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. The service has a friendly, homely touch, and the food is delicious, served with genuine care. Despite occasional electricity interruptions, there's surprisingly reliable wifi, quite impressive given the remote location. The rooms are spacious, and ours featured attached balconies offering a delightful view of the surroundings.

Lovely hotel in Nubra
A lovely hotel to stay in Nubra Valley, just a short distance from Hunder Sand Dunes and Diskit Monastery. Rooms are good, and the food is excellent. Big shout-out to the landlady and the hospitable staff. Make sure to choose rooms with included breakfast and dinner since finding dinner in this remote town, apart from tourist spots, can be a bit challenging. Hot water for baths is limited, and you'll need to ask the staff for it. Wi-Fi availability might depend on your room's location.

Wonderful memories
Incredibly scenic place, super-friendly staff, and roomy accommodations! The only snag is that lights go out at 11 pm, and hot water is only available in the morning. Nevertheless, trust me, it's a fantastic hotel, and we cherish our wonderful memories from staying here :)
